Every United Methodist has vowed to “faithfully participate in the ministries of the church by our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service, that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” The church exists to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ and to minister through worship, study, and service. Each year committees are formed to carry out the ministry plan of our church. Below are listed all the areas
of ministry currently in service and space to suggest new ones.
Please consider volunteering your service in one or more areas
by checking the appropriate line. Your response is needed as
soon as possible. The Committee on Lay Leadership will meet
weekly during October to form a slate of leaders and committees
for each area of ministry. They will be presented to the
Administrative Board on November 10 for information and
presented for election by the Charge Conference on November 19. |
