The family of First Church takes very seriously the scriptural exhortation to pray for one another. The Prayer Group prays daily for the requests that come to us.  We will pray for this need every day for a week. We love to share in the joy of answered prayers; so, please share notes of praise here, also. 

The beautiful stained glass window shown here is in the Sanctuary of First Church and is a reminder that Jesus communed with the Father, even during the harshest of times.  May God bless the need that you list here, and may you know that your Father cares about your deepest pain, will hear your prayer and will answer.

PRAYER:  Dear Father in Heaven, you give us one day at a time to do your work on this Earth. Let us be ready and eager to do your will and not let opportunities slip by to reach out to others in your Name. May we commit ourselves each morning to accomplish that day all that you would have us do. We ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

 

 
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:14-21).
