First United Methodist Church is committed to discipling ministries that change hearts and minds within the church and in the community.  The church has over 500 members, which includes a large population of children and young adults, and almost as many older adults.  This means that there are both multi-generational and age-oriented activities. The facilities are strikingly beautiful, with a 112-year old sanctuary and a modern annex for meetings and fellowship activities.  First Church is known as The Church with the Warm Heart, and the congregation lives this out.

First United Methodist Church is dedicated to glorifying God by making disciples of Christ through worship, Bible study, fellowship, missions, and caring hearts, so that all may know His love and grace.
