Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations Print E-mail
Written by Administrator

The Council on Ministries has adopted Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations as our primary focus for 2012. They are:

  • Radical Hospitality
  • Passionate Worship
  • Intentional Faith Development
  • Risk-Taking Mission and Service
  • Extravagant Generosity

I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing. Whoever does not abide in me is thrown away like a branch and withers; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. John 15:4-8

Be in prayer (abide in the vine) as this process unfolds that this is "God's time" for us to become fruitful disciples.

Mrs. Flolane Walker is retiring as the church Financial Secretary, and will be replaced by Susan Robertson on January 1, 2012.  In addition, Keirn Wilson will no longer serve as Program Director as this position is being eliminated.  The church is grateful for their faithful service.  They will remain active in the life of the church.

Rev. Seefeld will now be responsible for coordination of activities.  Amy Hooper will continue to maintain the church calendar.
